FAQ

What is the Water Walking Women Conference @ Sea?
WWW Conference @ Sea is your chance to get away and reflect on you. You will get the experience of a lifetime on an innovative ship as well as spend some time in the beautiful Islands with girlfriends! This event will prove to be more than just a “cruise,” it will be an opportunity for those who are attending to reflect on their current state, be refreshed, and leave rejuvenated!
Who may sail?
Please make sure that everyone in your stateroom is eligible to sail. Infants who are at least 6 months old on the day of departure may sail. Women who will be less than 24 weeks into their pregnancy on the day of departure, and for the duration of the cruise, may sail. This policy is due to the risk of premature labor. Pregnant women must have a letter from their doctor stating how far along (in weeks) their pregnancy will be at the beginning of the cruise, that mother and baby are in good health and fit to travel, and that the pregnancy is not high-risk. Adults aged twenty-one or older may sail. The Cruise Line shall refuse boarding to any guest under the age of twenty-one unless the guest is: traveling in the same stateroom with an individual twenty-five years or older; traveling in the same stateroom with their spouse (Proof of age and/or proof of marriage are required); or traveling with a parent or guardian in an accompanying stateroom. Guests not conforming to these policies will be denied boarding and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Sorry, there are NO EXCEPTIONS to these policies.
Will I receive a confirmation in the mail, or by email, before the event?
No. When you registered online, you should have received a confirmation email/receipt of your registration. That is your confirmation. You will receive a Welcome Package via email one month prior to sailing. This package will include your booking number, itinerary and other FAQs. If you did not receive a confirmation email/receipt when you registered online, feel free to contact us by sending an email to: reshae@waterwalkingwomen.org and she’ll assist you.

What is not included in the price of the cruise?

Airfare, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations. Cruise insurance (available through Carnival for an additional fee).
Is a Passport Needed?
We strongly recommend traveling with a valid passport. However, as of June 1, 2009, U.S. citizens embarking on a cruise that both originates and terminates at the same U.S. port are not required to have a passport, but will need proof of citizenship such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate as well as a government-issued photo ID. Children are also required to bring proof of citizenship, and if 16 and over, a photo ID is also required.
Can I make payments prior to the final payment?
Of course, simply go to the Conference Registration page, fill out the form again and click "This is an additional payment".
What is the Cancellation Policy?

If you fail to appear for embarkation, regardless of the reason, your reservation will be subject to cancellation. Each passenger expressly acknowledges that because of the special nature of partial and full-ship charters and the additional expenses incurred by Water Walking Women related to cancellation, re-booking, potential lost revenue, and finding booking replacements, that Water Walking Women's damages are difficult if not impossible to calculate at the time of this agreement. In addition the parties agree that the liquidated damages provisions shown in the table below represent a fair, reasonable and agreed upon determination of those damages and expenses. From time of reservation to March 15, 2018 - $75.00 per person booking fee and 100% of any other fees excluding port fees, taxes, and gratuities. Why is the price higher than Carnival's?
Our prices are based on higher cabin levels, includes all taxes, gratuities, registration of $100, conference materials and giveaways, so there are no hidden fees. Carnival's published price is based on the lowest deck and does not include gratuities. In most cases, the prices are non-refundable. We can offer you the same price, if you choose a non-refundable cabin.
What are the Early Saver Rate Terms?
Early Saver fare is backed by a unique price protection policy. Price protection does not apply to Super Saver, Instant Saver fares, group rates, membership rates, select promotions, or travel agent promotions. Verified rate difference will be issued as an onboard credit. Subsequent upgrades in lieu of price protection is not offered. No name changes are allowed. A $50 fee per guest will be assessed for ship/sail date changes made prior to final payment date. Onboard Welcome Amenity is not included.
