Key Truth: Resurrection power is not just something we celebrate; it is something we walk in - Water WALKING Women!
Scripture Anchors:
Luke 24:1–8
Consider This: Is it just me, or have you experienced moments in life when it feels like something in you has been buried? Your passion, your strength, your hope, your clarity, you. Am I the only one, or is it the perimenopause talking (lol)?
When I think of today’s devotional title, I can’t help but shout, “Hallelujah!” The resurrection didn’t stop at the empty tomb. It gave us proof that we can experience resurrection too.
The same power that raised Jesus is not distant. It is alive and active within each of us. Romans 8:11 reminds us, “The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you.”
That means we are not stuck. We are not finished. We are not buried. We are being called to rise.
What area of your life feels buried right now? Is it your hopes, dreams, desires or something you once were passionate about? Have you accepted it as final or are you expecting God to move? Now is the time to live in resurrection, not defeat!
Application: This week, identify one area where you’ve felt stuck or defeated and invite God into that space intentionally. Speak life over it. Pray over it. Take one bold step forward, even if it feels small. Resurrection doesn’t always happen in a moment. Sometimes it begins with a decision to get up.
Prayer: Jesus, the same power that raised You, awaken in me. Breathe life into every area where I’ve felt buried. Give me strength to rise spiritually, emotionally and purposefully. I refuse to stay in places You’ve already called me out of. I choose to walk in resurrection power today. In Jesus’ name - Amen.
Closing Declaration: I Am Covered by resurrection power. I rise again with strength, clarity and purpose.
