Pursue God’s Heart

Consider This: Seeking God's heart is not about following a set of rules. It is about a relationship that prioritizes His desires over our own.

There have been many times when I wanted what God's hands could provide, but not the heart that would transform my actions. You know, having His provision and protection, but not applying His principles.

Pursuing God’s heart means choosing intimacy over information, obedience over convenience and surrender over control.

This month is not about doing more for God. It is about being with God.

Reflection Questions:

1. What has been competing for my pursuit lately?

2. Am I seeking God’s hand for answers or God’s heart for alignment?

3. What would change if I pursued God with my whole heart this month?

   
   

Application: 

Set aside fifteen minutes each morning this week for pure worship. Do not ask for anything. Simply thank God for his character and his presence.

Prayer: 

Father God, we thank You for inviting us closer. Thank You for not hiding Your heart from us. Today, we choose to pursue You, not for what You can give, but for who You are. Search our hearts and remove anything that competes with You. Align our desires with Your will. Teach us to seek Your face daily and to respond with obedience when You speak. This month, draw us deeper, shape us gently and lead us boldly as we pursue Your heart above all else. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Closing Declaration: I choose pursuit over distraction. I seek God’s face, not just His hand. My heart is aligned with His heart. I am led, covered and transformed as I pursue God fully.
